No More Mr. Nice Guy

Transiting Cancer Moon aspecting today’s Leo Sun square Uranus can bring a surprising ego irritant to your emotions. Not everyone has the grace to appreciate or value your kindness. People can suck. Be kind and shine anyway. Let go of disenchantment and don’t let others hold you back. You’ll better magnetize to you what you want and deserve.

Uranus to Moon has flow to take the extra step with a solution while the semi sextile of Sun to Moon is in aversion. Reaching out to help brings benefit to another who overlooks those efforts. Better to remain in your own power with Sun in Leo/ Moon in Cancer, highly dignified in domicile. Don’t get stuck in the mire after getting triggered. Focus on your agenda.

Jupiter square Neptune, Saturn sextile Neptune & Neptune Rx

Neptune Retrogrades at the Summer Solstice, the Sun at highest peak on the longest day. Glamours are dissipated. Dreams intensify as the fog clears. We can see through the illusion to do the practical work of inspiration manifestation.
Jupiter Neptune augments aptitude and application of our spiritual magick, expanding our philosophy.  Saturn Neptune provides an intuitive reality check. Do mantras with your malas. Build a discipline of spirituality with a routine practice.

Jupiter squares Neptune as the second Saturn sextile Neptune aspect of 2019 occurs this June. The first pass initiated in late January, the third and final occurs in November. Where are you now on your journey?

Virgo Moon conjoins Regulus

This weekend held the world in thrall with the royal wedding of Meghan and Harry.  Some awaited with baited breath to clock the time of the proceedings which gives the marriage chart an early degree Virgo Rising.

Today’s Virgo Moon conjoins the marriage chart Ascendant and the Fixed Star, Regulus.  Fixed Stars are a category of stars that move so slowly they appear static from our viewpoint on Earth.  Unlike the planets and other stars that wander and flicker along the ecliptic, the Fixed Stars shine with a fixity and intentness.

Of the Fixed Stars, four are the Royal Stars and Guardians of the sky.  They mark the compass points East/West, North/South accordingly – Aldebaran, Antares, Fomalhaut and the Regulus, the most Royal.   If you seeking to instill a long lasting mark, elect a chart with the important astrological factor conjoin the appropriate Fixed Star.

Regulus, Alpha Leonis, the brightest star in the constellation of Leo is known as the King Maker. This star is associated with dignity, courage, fame, elevated position, and royalty.  This weekend, Leo actress, stylista and humanitarian, Meghan Markle married royalty to become the entitled Her Royal Highness, Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex.

Ceres, the asteroid of feminine fertility, rises in the first house of the marriage chart to conjoin Meghan’s Sun.  Juno the asteroid of marriage is conjoin the marriage chart Midheaven.  In her natal chart, Meghan’s Ceres is being expanded by transiting Jupiter retrograding back and forth at the doorway of her fruitful Scorpio 5th house, the house of pleasure and creative acts.

Meghan’s Ceres is followed by Uranus, Neptune, Juno, Moon and Vesta.  Keywords for these energies in the sequence in which these planetary energies will rise above the horizon are fertility –> surprise –> fantasy –> marriage –> motherhood –> hearth and home.  That this mirrors the timeline of the newest royal couple’s coupling, we will see.

If you’re shocked that a stylish American divorcee pulled off the wedding of the century with her beloved royal prince, note that Meghan and Harry are right on time tracking with the Universe.  The last time Uranus was in Taurus 82 years ago for an 8 year stay, a stylish American divorcee caught the eye of a royal prince.

Edward, the man who would be King, stepped down from the throne to win Wallis Simpson.  Edward VIII rubbed shoulders with das Fuhrer, who sought to restore Ed to the British throne as the abdication prevented his Nazi sympathizer politics from becoming those of the UK.

How very shocking it is that these American’s married into the royal family?  You decide.  Breakdown. Breakthrough.

Planetary Parking Lot – Five Planet Retrograde

  • Mercury: August 12,2017 – September 5, 2017
  • Saturn: April 6, 2017 – August 25, 2017
  • Uranus: August 3, 2017 – January 2, 2018
  • Neptune: June 16, 2017 – November 22, 2017
  • Pluto: April 20, 2017 – September 28, 2017

The Leo Sun and Great American Solar Eclipse may leave you feeling fired up and anxious to go, but this August will be the time to hurry up and wait.  This is not to say you won’t be busy.   You will.  You’ll be plenty busy but with five planets retrograde, things are going to slow down in a palpable way so much so it will try your patience.  Plan ahead so you’ll have something to do while you’re waiting.

The closer a planet is to the Sun, the more often it will retrograde.  The planets listed above are in order from closest to the Sun to further away.  Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are outer planets which go retrograde for lengthier cycles than their inner planetary brethren and as such are felt on a intuitive level.  Inner planets are felt closer to the surface and more consciously manifested.

Consider that each of these planets are parked in a lot in the August Sun.  There will be some welcome relief in the last week of the month when Saturn stations Direct.  If you’ve been making internal efforts during the retrograde weeks, external actions at this time can be achieved as the lethargy you’ve been feeling will dissipate.

You may even have some new downloads from Saturn’s travels back and forth over the Galactic Center.  Saturn connects to our sense of structure and order.   As the Lord of Karma, Saturn wants you to take responsibility for what you contracted as your work in this life.

Mercury connects to our thinking processes.  Information of use on how best to serve and shine will be collected by Mercury in his travels through Virgo and Leo to be transmitted to you in the first week of September.

By December 20, 2017 Saturn will shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn.  Sharpen your mental processes and make use of that Mercurial data to inform Saturn on how to expand your boundaries before years end as the cutting edge will be removed from the heat of the fire to cool off.  Thus begins the time of tempering.

Uranus Eris & the Gemini New Moon: Get Smart

Uranus remains in peak conjunction with Eris until June 23rd to bring us a flash of insight. This conjunction began on May 28th rooting in Aries, the house of Mars.

That pang of discontent, discord or even envy is your internal engine revving in a particular direction.  This lack of harmony is a dissonance with your dreamed for or perceived self in a mirror reflecting back to you.  You can see that part of your shadow self you may not want to own.

Don’t be afraid.  This is not a demon/demoness coming for you.  This is a Daimon- an aspect of your own divinity that connects your humanity with that of the living, breathing universal consciousness.  Note the desirable attribute(s) you wish to possess.  What do you long for or covet for your very own?  What will you cast off to acquire your desire?

Mars cuts, separates, divides. Mars inconjunct to Uranus/Eris from June 7th – 21st will awaken us with a call to action towards that desired modification.

Your lesson is to transmute that antipathy and listen to the messages coming in from the Gemini New Moon. The planets in Mutable signs are grounded in Fixed houses and it is time to shift the paradigm.

Ritual for the Gemini New Moon: Ground and Center to better affix and anchor your intentions at this time of the Mutable Grand Cross.  Specify a SMART Goal and read it aloud at 10:59 PM Saturday evening. Fill in the specifics at that time or later in the month.  Read these aloud after you enter them.  Begin your big action steps after Mars Stations Direct on June 29th.

Gemini New Moon 2016

The Gemini New Moon on June 4th reawakens the Mutable Grand Cross with a conjunction to Venus, squaring Jupiter and North Node in Virgo, squaring Neptune and South Node in Pisces and opposing Saturn in Sagittarius.

Gemini is a sign of duality.  There will be options coming in from the angles of the Mutual Grand Cross.  Time your choices accordingly in this month ahead.

NM Gemini 2016

Neptune in Pisces brings illusion, confusion and awakens Spirit in your process.  South Node in Pisces is our internal introspection, musing isolated in our silos.  Jupiter and the North Node in Virgo are critical of our knowledge base and the health of our self-care.   Seek a path to mastery.  Look into that class you always planned to take.  Prepare to acquire that certification in your chosen field.

Venus is cazimi June 4-6, 2016 , within 17 minutes of the Sun.  An activation of the Gemini Venus Star Point occurs at the time of the New Moon, a bright moment to manifest the benefic vibration of Venus.  Sun Venus answers to Mercury:  Speak your truth.  Say aloud what you dream for yourself and the world.  Access the planetary factors this way and active your thymus gland.  Words have Magick.  More tomorrow with a Ritual for this Esbat.

Henchmen on Horseback

Mars and Saturn have been traveling together in the same patch of the Sagittarius sky, malefic henchmen seeking to do what exactly?

The term Henchman originated as a term for one who attended to an employer’s horse and then became the title for an official providing service to a noble’s house.  You- you’re the noble.  Mars and Saturn? They are not the bad guys, they’re your guys.

Saturn Retrograde in Sagittarius is the in-breath to the out-breath, a meditation of control to activate our wisdom.  Saturn provides structure to our plans, gifting tough love obstacles to better prepare us for the challenges on our path in our acquisition of knowledge.  Saturn Stations Direct on August 13 at 9° Scorpio.

Mars returned to Scorpio on May 27th, holding back the tide and allowing us to emotionally ruminate on the new plan on our agenda.  Mars here reiterates the lessons learned  during Saturn’s traversal of Scorpio from October 2012 to September 17, 2015 and shines his own special red glow, an ember which you can save in your brazier to fan into flame at month’s end.
