The Leo Sun and Great American Solar Eclipse may leave you feeling fired up and anxious to go, but this August will be the time to hurry up and wait. This is not to say you won’t be busy. You will. You’ll be plenty busy but with five planets retrograde, things are going to slow down in a palpable way so much so it will try your patience. Plan ahead so you’ll have something to do while you’re waiting.
The closer a planet is to the Sun, the more often it will retrograde. The planets listed above are in order from closest to the Sun to further away. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are outer planets which go retrograde for lengthier cycles than their inner planetary brethren and as such are felt on a intuitive level. Inner planets are felt closer to the surface and more consciously manifested.
Consider that each of these planets are parked in a lot in the August Sun. There will be some welcome relief in the last week of the month when Saturn stations Direct. If you’ve been making internal efforts during the retrograde weeks, external actions at this time can be achieved as the lethargy you’ve been feeling will dissipate.
You may even have some new downloads from Saturn’s travels back and forth over the Galactic Center. Saturn connects to our sense of structure and order. As the Lord of Karma, Saturn wants you to take responsibility for what you contracted as your work in this life.
Mercury connects to our thinking processes. Information of use on how best to serve and shine will be collected by Mercury in his travels through Virgo and Leo to be transmitted to you in the first week of September.
By December 20, 2017 Saturn will shift from Sagittarius to Capricorn. Sharpen your mental processes and make use of that Mercurial data to inform Saturn on how to expand your boundaries before years end as the cutting edge will be removed from the heat of the fire to cool off. Thus begins the time of tempering.
